I have hiked once from Chamonix to Zermat and stayed in several huts which take part in the Vercofly. Later I overflew the region many times when trying to reach the last turnpoint of the famous Fiesch FAI. The Vercofly offers the opportunity to combine both and is a good excuse to explore a wonderful region a bit better!
